This medication is prescribed to provide relief from symptoms associated with:

• Allergic Rhinitis:This includes both seasonal allergies (hay fever, caused by pollen) and perennial (year-round) allergies caused by allergens like dust and pet dander. Symptoms include sneezing, a runny or stuffy nose, and itchy or watery eyes.
• Asthma Management:It helps prevent and control asthma symptoms by reducing inflammation in the airways, making breathing easier. It is used for long-term treatment, but not for sudden, acute asthma attacks (a rescue inhaler should be used for that).
• Chronic Urticaria (Hives):It can treat chronic hives, which are persistent, itchy, red skin rashes and swelling due to allergic reactions.
