LACTIC ACID BACILLUS+CEFIXIME belongs to a group of antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, sinuses (sinusitis), throat (tonsillitis, pharyngitis), lungs (bronchitis, pneumonia), and urinary system (cystitis and kidney infections). Infectious or harmful bacteria can make you sick and reproduce quickly in your body. These harmful bacteria produce toxins, damaging tissue and making you sick.

LACTIC ACID BACILLUS+CEFIXIME contains Cefixime (antibiotic) and Lactic Acid Bacillus (beneficial lactic acid-producing bacteria). Cefixime kills the bacterial cell by blocking the chemical (mucopeptides) released by the bacteria's outer layer (cell wall). In turn, LACTIC ACID BACILLUS+CEFIXIME weakens and destroys the bacterial cell wall. It is a broad range of antibiotics that helps in fighting various types of bacteria. Lactic Acid Bacillus is a beneficial lactic acid-producing bacteria (good bacteria) that supports the growth of friendly bacteria in the intestine, maintaining a healthy balance of microflora in the gut environment. Lactic Acid Bacillus prevents diarrhoea due to a prolonged intake of LACTIC ACID BACILLUS+CEFIXIME. Thus, together LACTIC ACID BACILLUS+CEFIXIME helps in the prevention of infections. LACTIC ACID BACILLUS+CEFIXIME will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.

Take LACTIC ACID BACILLUS+CEFIXIME with or without food. It should be swallowed as a whole, do not crush or chew the tablet.
